I am not trying to be disrespectful. It is an amazing story and I am happy for the kids and their families. Before moving to God's Country, I lived in Kirkwood. It is the last place you would have expected something like this to happen. I hope the creep that kidnapped them does hard time.

But

You can’t turn on a news program, local or national, without fifteen minute updates. I am particularly tired of all of the “profilers” they are dragging out of the woodwork who don’t know any more than the rest of us about what actually happened. The full story will emerge. When it does I will be as interested as anyone. But, until then, give me a break.

Rainy Days & Mondays

I have made pretty good progress on the Nativism talk and not much on Petersburg. The problem with the Civil War is that there are too many burgs. I get them confused. Plus there are way too many generals.

Here is an interesting quote from Ben Franklin
